Spanish Taxes for Companies
If you would like to speak to a company tax advisor or to receive more information about our services, please complete the form below and one of our qualified tax advisors will contact you shortly:
Spanish registered companies must employ their own accountant or use a gestoria (accountancy firm, such as Finanz Asesores)to look after their tax liabilities. It is an accountant’s task to prepare monthly pay slips (nominas) for staff with the correct social security and income tax retentions and salaries clearly stated as well as the employee’s details.
Social security is paid on behalf of salaried employees and company administrators on a monthly basis, whereas income tax retentions are paid quarterly with the IVA (VAT) declarations.
Corporation tax is paid annually, and a review and IVA balance has is made with collaborating companies or parties. The final annual tax declaration is then submitted to the Spanish Treasury.

Thank you also for… getting our returns in on time and… fixing our accountant’s mistakes. What would I have done without you?
See you soon,”
